WE OUTSIDE HIKE CLUB
We Outside Hike Club began as a grassroots collective of Detroiters bringing outdoor culture into the city. After two years of organic growth, they were ready to formalize their identity and build a brand that reflected both movement and community. I developed a cohesive identity system anchored by a reimagined interpretation of Detroit’s Spirit of Detroit statue, grounding the brand in local pride. Greens and golds reference trees, grass, and sunlight — reinforcing the club’s connection to nature while remaining distinctly urban. The system extends across merchandise and social presence, positioning the group for continued growth and collaboration.
